After being hit by a car, he suffered two broken legs—one of which couldn’t be saved, leading to an amputation. But don’t feel sorry for him—Avatar sure doesn’t! Zero is a stunning 5-year-old Husky-Malamute mix with a heart as big as his fluffy coat! This sweet boy found himself in a North Carolina shelter, facing high risk of euthanasia simply because of his breed. Thankfully, he was given a second chance, and now he's ready to find his perfect home!

Zero is incredibly intelligent, delightfully goofy, and guaranteed to put a smile on your face. While he can be a little shy and nervous when meeting new people or dogs, once he warms up, he’s all about hugs, cuddles, and just being by your side. His loyalty and loving nature shine through once he feels safe and comfortable.
